At Every Moment is a Choice Studio, I don’t just document the western lifestyle; I live it. As a 4th-generation farmer working alongside my father and brother on our family farm, my roots run deep in the Alberta soil.

I understand the grit, the dust, and the split-second timing required in the arena because I face those same variables raising my own herd of 25 purebred Charolais cows. This firsthand experience allows me to capture agricultural and rodeo moments with a safety and intuition that only comes from a life spent around livestock.

My camera is my tool for preservation—honoring the hard work of our agricultural community while creating high-quality art that families can cherish forever.

Our Story: From Resilience to Purpose

My journey into photography was born from a pivotal moment of choice. In 2018, I faced a profound mental health crisis that nearly ended my life. Through the support of my community and a renewed sense of purpose, I chose to fight back.

What started as the Kemp Family Scholarship Fund—an initiative to support youth mental health—evolved into Every Moment is a Choice Studio. I realized that my ability to connect with people, particularly children with special needs and families facing their own silent battles, was my true calling.

Today, I channel that resilience into my work. Whether I am capturing the raw energy of a cattle show or the quiet joy of a family portrait, I bring patience, empathy, and a creative eye to every session.
